Steven Levine, President
I didn't start riding until 1997, but before that I ran for over ten years and completed six marathons. When I began riding I would do a lot of tours and a lot of casual riding. Then in 1999 Lance was in the Tour de France. I really wanted to get more into it. Maybe try some racing.
In 2001-02', I was involved in the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and managed to raise over $11,000 for cancer research.
During those two years, I got to travel to Austin Texas to participate in the Ride For The Roses. I then rode in a private group with Lance and some of his friends, including Robin Williams and Eric Hieden to name a few.
I got more and more into racing, and was trained by C.T.S. for the next four years. I learned a lot about training and riding, and though I've now been racing for a total of eight years, every race is still a learning experience.
My best result was 9th place in a 45 mile race in NJ. I'm still working hard, and hope to get more top ten finishes. With all the support of the great team we have, maybe this will be the year.
This team was created because the other teams I had been on in the past seemed to lack camaraderie. I wanted to put together a team which included people that love to ride and race, and who have a shop to work it out of. I think that is what has been created and I am looking forward to a great time for all.
